what a fantastic day!
one for the books. SUCH a fun day.
we started bright and early with halloween pumpkin panny cakes, followed by a stroller strides workout for mommy and stroller trick-or treating for the kids. daddy even made a special stop (a short escape from work) to come and see the kidlets. they really have the best dad ever.
miss madi. a post just for her will follow, as she is just so special and making
HUGE strides right now.
anyways, she was a fairy this year. cutest dang fairy i have ever seen.
this was her first year trick or treating & first actual dress up event. hello, she is a major fan. i was able to catch a photo of her treating at her first house, so excited about the treat she got. NEXT HOUSE! MORE TRICK OR TREATING! MORE CANDY!
(she got to eat one piece. the rest we took and hid. next year, she can trade in her candy and pick out a new toy the next day. it's a deal we made,
and she forgot, so i saved money this year! sweet.)
thank you grammy for making her a one of a kind fairy skirt & star wand!
while madi napped i got to hang out with this kid, outside. his favorite. he played with water. he is such a cheap date. love him.
look how big he is!
little lover boy. makes me so happy!
he was a tiger...it was so cute! but HOT. worked out great for the evening as it got waaaay chilly, but during the day he sported our favorite shirt of his...till he drenched himself.
we decorated cupcakes!
so...madi can take the top off of the sprinkles. yea. i learned that AFTER 1/2 of the almost new bottle was all over my kitchen floor.
yes, she is eating them off of the floor. like a dog she says. mommy foul, i know, but i HAD to get the camera to document. so, she ate some dirt. could be worse but i will have orange and black sprinkles stuck to my feet for a week.
most fun night ever!
madi did GREAT! no fear, except the scary houses. we skipped those. she walked the entire time. running part of the way. bubba sat in the wagon till he started to fall asleep...waving at everyone who gave him ooo's and ahhh's. he held onto some starburts, that madi gave him after the 2nd house, until we got back home. so cute.
after we hit up all the houses we wanted to madi got to pass out candy. she LOVED it. she'd hear the kids coming, MORE KIDS, MORE KIDS! COME ON!!
seriously. she kills me.
we had such a fun day. start to finish!!
can't wait until next year!
