*drool is the perfect remedy for my fly away hairs.
**having little time to eat breakfast, being a mommy is the perfect excuse to eat a donut guilt free (or 2 or 3...)
*i get to take a nap at least once a day if i choose.
**priorities have shifted. 95% of my day revolves around my madi girl, and i LOVE that i get to focus so much of my attention on such a sweet thing.
*i get to sing...to someone that is completely non-judgemental of the quality of my voice.
*we play, all day long. we name our dolls and stuffed animals and tell stories and sing songs about each and every one of them.
**i get to make up silly songs...about EVERYTHING! diaper changing, bath time, lunch time, barf, boogies, poop...you name it, we have sung about it.
*i get to blame my forgetfullness and lack of focus on having a 4 1/2 month old child (can i do this forever i wonder??)
**highlight #1...i am doing what i feel i am supposed to be doing. i am a mommy and so happy to be! no matter how rough the night was, or how cranky she may be, or how loud she might be screaming, i am the luckiest mama out there and i love this girl more than anything.

That picture is classic! Such a moment caught there. She's so lucky to have a Mom who loves her so much, it makes me even more eager to meet Kate! I'm so glad you're so happy.
