been there...done that

friday i felt off. i just didn't feel right. i had a headache. i was super tired and light headed. i was...just off. so, i called the dr. and left a msg for a nurse. finally got a call back at 4. 'can you come in before 4:30?' great. quickly drank a bottle of water, put madi's shoes on, swung by my mom's to pick her up and off we went. turns out my blood pressure was high and i had protein in my urine. i was sent to the hospital to have some blood work done, just to make sure everything was ok. once i checked in at labor and delivery i sent my mom home with madi. i had no idea how long i was going to have to wait and i didn't want madi hanging out there. steven was stuck in traffic on his way home from l.a., so i was alone. i waited about 25 minutes and was taken back...asked to put on a gown so they could hook me up to all those fun monitors. wait, i thought i was just here for blood work. great. 2 hours later i was sent home. my urine was +1 (which isn't too bad) and my blood tests were all clear. it was perfect timing as steven got to the hospital just as i was being discharged. what a fun way to spend a friday evening. only upside...knowing little logan is perfectly fine!! we went through this with madi...when i was 37 weeks. my body is done. finished. bubba's cooked. let's let him out to play :) i have an appointment on tuesday morning. will keep you posted.
