2 more i tried tonight...that you must try!

tuscan ravioli with tomato-basil sauce: myrecipes.com
easy way to kick up store bought ravioli & store bought sauce. there is just something so great about fresh basil. i love to cook with it but i also just love the basil plant sitting on my kitchen counter. smells so good, and looks pretty cute too. it took about 2 seconds to make the sauce and then a few to simmer. if you don't want to use the white wine, just use chicken stock...but i highly suggest you use the wine. white wine is just yummy in recipes. a bottle of wine lasts about 3 years in our house, since we only use it to cook with. wine = headache around these parts. anyways, make this.
bite size apple pies: cookin' up north
what i love most about an apple pie is the crust...unless it's a french apple, then hands down it's the crumbly topping...mmm, crumbly topping. sorry, back to these...they were the easiest 'pie' dessert ever and did not lack on any pie goodness. i used granny smiths and peeled them. would remake exactly the same way. mmm.
(again, these are not my photos. but again, the food looked exactly as pictures here. love it when that happens!)
