why i LOVE facebook

sorry dad :) (i know that 'spacebook' is not on your list of favorites!) i am a HUGE fan of facebook right now. (i know it may be a temporary love for me...but for this moment in time, it is freaking great. great, great, great.) why? because it has reunited me with several friends from a way, way, way long time ago. recently, i have been able to communicate and catch up with friends of mine from oregon...yea, friends from like over 15 years ago. to me, that's huge. i missed a lot of their lives. they missed a lot of mine. by no means does the use of facebook make up for any of that, but it sure feels good to chat with them. even if it is via web chat or email. doesn't matter to me. the sad news, the good news...it is all so good to hear. we have been able to talk about the fun stories. (because 15 years ago, life was all fun and games...we knew no different.) and that feels so good. we've all struggled, continue to struggle, loved & lost & learned. to know that even though thousands of miles and many, many years have come between us and we still share the same fun memories is just priceless these days! so, thanks, facebook for these fabulous reunions. i heart you.
