madi's birthday isn't until wednesday...so, we still have a few more days of having an 11month old before we have to admit we have a 1 year old...{insert heavy sign and tear here.}
today we had both of our families over for madi's 1st birthday shindig, which was awesome! we ate. a lot. and then ate some more. the day was beautiful (thanks dad for braving the wind and sacrificing your eye balls for our bbq...we love you.)
we played, jumped on the tramp and just hung out in the carlsbad sunshine.

seriously, family is the best. madi totally made out this year with enough gifts to last her 'till her next birthday! thanks everyone for coming to madi's birthday celebration. we love you all so much.
p.s. a much sappier post dedicated to our bebe girl will come. probably on her birthday. she deserves another post just for her :)
