no judgy judgy from me

i posted this for a day and then deleted it. i wasn't sure how people would respond. but, i know a couple of people read it while it was up and i got some great feedback from them. so, here it is. take it as you want. it's kind of random but i think it is important!
i recently read of a family that lost their 5 month old beautiful baby girl, very unexpectedly. i don't know their family but i have not been able to get it out of my head. and it has made me reflect a lot on life and how truly precious it is. i have learned several things as a person and a mom.
patience & consistency are key in parenting. that's what our kids need. without it...poor them. really.
we all do things differently. that's why it's all so great. why we get to vent, chat and ask for advice from our fellow mommy and daddy friends. we get to help eachother learn! how great is that!?!?!?
but what's with the judgy judgy from some people? who are we to judge? we don't know the situation of all the other kids and families out there. and if they are happy and whatever they are doing works for them...then AWESOME! just because it isn't what you do doesn't make it bad or wrong.
books are good. i've read a lot of baby books myself. but you can't follow them to a T. you have to let your instincts and natural intuition help guide you as well. trust yourself. because you're probably right.
don't stress the super small stuff. your kid will tell you what they need, even if they are 4 months old, they have their way of letting you know. follow their lead.
give them hugs, kisses, endless amounts of love...and some food...and i am pretty sure your kid is gonna turn out just great!
enjoy it. enjoy everyday. it goes by too, too fast not to.
(so, if you wanna chat, i am hear for you. minus the judgement, weird looks and eye rolling you might get from others! i promise!)

I always hope we can trade advice between us. I hope I don't sound judgy at all. You are a wonderful Mommy and this was right on! a good remimder for everyone. I think that Moms need to unite for support, instead of compete to feel good. I even felt the judgy ladies in a Target baby aisle today, weird, huh?
