i haven't had the chance to post any walking videos of miss madi. i LOVE the way kids walk when they first learn. their big stomping steps and kicked out feet. it's just about the cutest thing i've ever seen.
she has learned how to take legos apart and put them back together. everytime she gets them stuck back together she giggles the cutest giggle of all time.
she is in LOOOOVE with erica's dog lilu. she laughs and giggles everytime she sees her. i admit, lilu is about the cutest/sweetest doggie i have ever met. they are life long buddies already! yes, she loves our weens...especially when she gets to kick them out of their bed. poor weens. they have 2 beds...and those 2 spots are the only places they are really allowed to lay. what is the fascination with dog beds? she is obsessed!!
she loves her crib. when she wakes up sometimes she plays in there for a good 15 minutes before i go get her. she talks to her friends until you go in. then she still offers each one up for a kiss. or she shares her binkies...as many as she can find in her crib. usually at least 4.
another fun crib game is standing on the outside and pulling out all the blankets through the slats and then shoving them back into the crib. in and out, in and out. funny kid. i need to get that one on video.
i think her favorite word right now is ok. she says it really fast...ok,ok,ok.
everyday she is learning new things. it's just amazing to see how smart she is. she loves the abc's song. she will sit right up in your face as you sing and then she'll sing along with you. she loves to sing! so cute.
she loves wind. she loves it blowing in her face. she loves fake wind too. take a book or a piece of paper and flap it really fast and she will just laugh her head off.
one of her favorite spots in the kitchen is in front of the stove where she can see her reflection. at least once a day she has a nice conversation with her friend, madi :) usually it involves crossed arms or hands on hips, a nodding head-yea, we've got attitude early! and lots of words...in madi's language.
really, truly...she is my best little friend. i love this kid! she has no idea.
