madi and i went to visit a friend, anne, of ours last week. actually, we went to visit an old friends mom. i haven't seen her son in almost 11 years, but she is awesome. she is just fun to chat with. fun to get advice from.
fun to stay in touch with. she invited us over to go swimming. SO SWEET! i cannot pass up an opportunity to get miss madi in a pool. so i jumped on the chance.
we had such a great visit. a fun swim and great conversation including some fun mommy stories. she played with madi (you know, good old measuring cups and spoons!) and madi enjoyed her new playmate :)
this pic is of madi and i post swim and post drool all over the spoons and floor! i cannot wait for anne to become a grandma...now, if only her son didn't live in kauai...yea. she's bummed. madi and bubba may just have to be her foster grandkids.

you girls are too nice :) thanks! i feel good. huge, but good. bruised, but good. can't complain about an active, healthy baby! 6 weeks...CRAZYNESS! but, we're all very excited about it all. madi and i play, then nap. then do it all over again. she's great about letting me get plenty of rest. such a sweet girl :)
