the toilet paper is not on the roll. it's current residence is on the back of the toilet. not because we are lazy, so please don't try to help us by putting it back on it's roll. but, because playing with the toilet paper is too much fun for an 11 month old!**********
there are measuring spoons, measuring cups and spatulas all over the place. no lie, i have no measuring spoons in my drawer. none. and i own at least 3 sets. in the middle of baking something i have to go on a hunt to find the spoon i need. not an easy task when the spoons live in several places. spoons sink to the bottom of the basket and are easy to hide too...good times!!**********
the sparkletts water container lives on the corner of the kitchen island, instead of on it's stand in the corner of the kitchen. (ok, and it looks soooooo extremely tacky there...) playing with the water spout is just about as good as it gets!**********
there are bowls, of all shapes, colors and sizes, that almost permanently live on the floor...in every room. we stack bowls, according to size (she is a smart one this girl...) we play drums on the bowls and we smash cereal in our bowls with remote controls. oh yes, it is so fun!**********
at any given time, there are at least 3 pairs of shoes (mine) on the floor in the kitchen. when we get home from our morning walk, madi plays with my shoes. after dinner, madi plays with my shoes. we have a nice selection too...unless this weather continues, then up go the uggs. but for now, you can usually count on seeing flip flops, running shoes and uggs spread out across the house. (side note: madi doesn't wear shoes yet. they don't fit her! nothing, except one pair of soft shoes and a pair of booties, that we have found so far, will go on her pudgy little feet. we absolutely LOVE it and don't mind one bit. shoes are totally overrated anyways. especially when you live in carlsbad! so, when the time really comes for shoes, she might just rather play with them then keep them on her feet. can't blame her for that!)**********
laundry piles are strategically placed, (haha, yea right.) piles of clothes are like MOUNTAINS! so fun to climb! the clean clothes live in laundry baskets for several days in the living room (becuase i do laundry during the day, and madi helps me fold.) most of the time they have been removed, i mean each article of clothing has picked out and thrown across the room, refolded and put back in the basket 4 or 5 times before they actually get put away. laundry, clean or dirty, is AWESOME!**********
i know you won't judge us! i know you want to come and play with the bowls and dirty laundry. :)
