Sparked by an episode of Seinfeld, some undergraduate students did some research on several sample dips and found that three to six double dips transferred about 10,000 bacteria from an eater’s mouth to the remaining dip sample...EWWWW, gross. You might as well go around and kiss everyone in the room, seriously...a microbiologist says so too. The results of the test and the risk of the bacteria will be published in a few months...I don't even want to know.

Double Dipping - It really is gross
