let me brag, please

yup, that's right! steven won an award at work. not just any award...he won the pinnacle of sales excellence award! what does this mean? well, it means that out of 2,500 motorola sales reps country wide, he showed the biggest improvement between his 1st and 2nd year. umm, yea. this award is way bigger than we thought. monday, he flew to vegas to accept his award in front of who knows how many thousands of people. oh, not to mention that this occasion happened at the belagio...where he got to stay in a room of his own, with a view of the water show. duh, how cool! basically he had a 2 day mini vacation. he spent several hours at the pool or in his room napping. in addition to this beautiful plaque, he won a week long all inclusive stay at a resort and spa in santa barbara! this vacation is scheduled for may, but we will have a new baby and will be unable to attend. BUT GET THIS! motorola has rescheduled our vacation, SWEET! we aren't sure yet of the date, but know it will be pushed at least another month or 2 and that's good enough for us! this luxury stay will include golf (but we won't play,) dinner, spa services, the works. HELLO! AWESOME! it's so fun to think that our first vacation with madi will be in one of our favorite places...and totally free! i am still in shock, and so is steven. it's so fun when you are rewarded for your hard work. talk about a great reward! so, to my hard working wonderful husband, i love you and CONGRATULATIONS!! i know it was a rough year, but it has paid off. (p.s. thanks for letting me brag!!)
