fabulous lady jane...my mom!

i put vinegar in the water when cooking artichokes...because she does. i cook and bake...because she does. i sew...because she does. i sing (but, only to my kid...)...because she does, well, make that because she did. i have a sweet tooth (teeth)...because she does. i say the word 'gradu' (i am guessing that's how we would spell it...)...because she does. i eat fast...probably because she does. i put a splash of vinegar in the washer with my brand new dark clothes...because she does. i use canola oil, not vegetable oil...because she does. other things we have in common: we both HATE to empty the dishwasher, HATE to iron and HATE that we can't go buy 3 pairs of new pairs of shoes right this second. we both think it should be a marital pre-requisite for a man to know how to give a good back rub/scratch. we both think that most of the time the batter is much better than the finished product. we both love mac 'n cheese, frozen yogurt, cocoa puffs, in 'n out, pretty much most food and especially the the top half of the cake (you know, the part with all the frosting!) i know i am a good mom...because she is. love you mommy!!!! happy mother's day :)
