Our 102nd 18th

Today we celebrate our 102nd 18th together. (I have never counted before, thought it was kind of fun.)

We started "officially" dating October 18th, 1999. So, if my math is correct (I will not be surprised if it isn't) today is the 102nd 18th we have spent together.

The 18th of every month has always been 'our' day. It has kind of always been our unofficial date night of the month. Even though we were married on the 19th, the 18th is just a special day for us. Habit I guess.

This picture is on our 1st dating anniversary (our 12th 18th!!) I love this picture. It is one of my favorites...probably because we are so damn skinny and in such good shape. BUT, I would not want to be 19 again...glad those days are over. My 20's have been good to me. 27 is a good age :) I am lovin' it so far!

The new playlist...let me explain. Steven and I used to listen to music in his dorm room, when Napster was legal. We would make looooong playlists and just lay there and sing to eachother (well, he would sing and I would fake it!) So, the new playlist has just a few of our old favorites. Several of them I couldn't find on playlist.com, but we have them on cd. Every few years we pull out our cd's from 1999 and remember how much we loved those songs. Iz, Over the Rainbow, we decided years before we got married that it would be the song we would walk down the aisle to at our wedding...AND WE DID. Our great family friend played a beautiful acoustic version...it was one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. (I can say that because I can watch it on video over and over!!)
