A better day

Today was a better day. (I think my pink fingernail polish is helping boost my spirits!!) We woke up and made the day as productive as it could be. We tried to stay as busy as we could. Steven did some boy stuff around the house, hung blinds, WD-40'd some doors, hung some shelves and hooks. I did laundry, swiffered, vacuumed and steam cleaned my tile floor...finally! We worked non-stop until about 4, then called it quits for the day. (I was a good supervisor while he hung some stuff in Madi's room. He just laughed at me as I sat in my glider chair, holding onto Madi's pink monster princess. It felt good to be in her room...just chillin' for a bit.) My contractions are still there. About 8-9 minutes apart right now. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being least amount of pain) I rate them an average of 7. Some maybe are a little stronger, but I know the strongest ones have yet to come...so I will stick with the 7 rating. They start in my back and then every few shoot up my spine and my neck. They let up a bit last night...hence how I had the energy today to do everything we did. Maybe the Easter bunny will deliver us a nice Easter surprise, but we aren't holding our breath just yet...although, wouldn't it be nice!
